Guest artist and U-M DMA alum Svetozar Ivanov presents “Berceuse” – twelve audio vignettes inspired by poetry. Each vignette intertwines live music with various pre-recorded audio elements. Music by Andriessen, Rzewski, Ippolito, Saariaho, Aminikia, Say, Crumb, Silvestrov, Cowell, Kopycinski, Khalaf, and Helps. Poetry by Sappho, Pizarnik, Prévert, Apollinaire, Cummings, Lorca, Poe, and Alareer.
